Programmed Cell Death and Myocardial Ischemia Reperfusion Injury

چکیده

Acute myocardial infarction has a rapid onset, is severe and high mortality rate that seriously threatens the lives of population. Coronary intervention combined with drug treatment can open criminal blood vessel save patient's life, but surviving patient not "cured" must go through process ischemia reperfusion injury. Myocardial cells are end-stage death due to injury irreversibly damages structure function heart. In past, apoptosis was thought be only regulated form cell death, whereas necrosis not. However, recent studies suggest also regulated, which grouped under term programmed death. Since actively mediated by molecular signaling pathways, there possibility inhibit this thus attenuate Currently, mainly includes apoptosis, autophagy, pyroptosis, necroptosis, ferroptosis. paper, we explore relationship between ischemic injury, in order support prevention intervening perspective

Cell Autophagy and Myocardial Ischemia/Reperfusion Injury

Ischemic heart disease is a clinical syndrome resulting from myocardial ischemia and is characterized by an imbalance between the supply and demand of myocardial blood flow and myocardial oxygen metabolism. It is currently one of the major diseases that endanger human health. Early and effective reconstruction of ischemic myocardial blood perfusion is the fundamental measure taken to prevent th...

Perioperative myocardial ischemia reperfusion injury.

Myocardial I-R injury contributes to adverse cardiovascular outcomes after cardiac surgery. The pathogenesis of I-R injury is complex and involves the activation, coordination, and amplification of several systemic and local proinflammatory pathways (Fig. 4). Treatment and prevention of perioperative morbidity associated with myocardial I-R will ultimately require a multifocal approach. Combini...

Selective β2-adrenoreceptor stimulation attenuates myocardial cell death and preserves cardiac function after ischemia-reperfusion injury.

OBJECTIVE β(2)-adrenoreceptor activation has been shown to protect cardiac myocytes from cell death. We hypothesized that acute β(2)-adrenoreceptor stimulation, using arformoterol (ARF), would attenuate myocardial ischemia/reperfusion (R) injury via NO synthase activation and cause a subsequent increase in NO bioavailability. METHODS AND RESULTS Male C57BL/6J and endothelial NO synthase (eNOS...

Gap junction-mediated spread of cell injury and death during myocardial ischemia-reperfusion.

Gap junction-mediated intercellular communication (GJMIC) has been known for a long time to be essential in propagation of electrical impulse in the heart, and the contribution of altered GJMIC to the genesis of arrhythmias has been extensively investigated. However, although it is well known that GJMIC allows the exchange of biologically important molecules between adjacent cells, the pathophy...

Myocardial ischemia, reperfusion and free radical injury.

Reperfusion of coronary arteries to limit myocardial ischemic injury and extent of myocardial necrosis is possible by either the use of fibrinolytic therapy, coronary angioplasty or coronary artery bypass surgery. The concept that early reperfusion may salvage jeopardized myocardium is derived from basic experimental studies which purported to demonstrate that the ultimate extent of irreversibl...
